The biggest gaming tournament in India, Chaos , hosted by IIT Roorkee is going to be held during 26-28 March this year.

Taipei Game Show to host Asian Championship.

ESL discloses Asian Championship Finals venue along with the summon for the teams.

Intel Extreme Masters Season 4 Asia Championship Finals will be held at the Taipei Game Show (TGS) 2010. The Taipei Game Show will be held at the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), Taiwan February 5th to 9th next year.

Players and teams from Asia, New Zealand and Australia are eligible to compete in Intel Extreme Masters Asian Championship Finals if their line-up in all of their matches is made up of more than 50% players who are citizens  or residents of Australia, New Zealand or a country in Asia. An additional clause has been added requesting teams of players who have already participated in the American or European Championships not to apply for this event.

Games and Prizes

  • Counter Strike 1.6 , $25,000                                                      
  • World of Warcraft  , $20,000
  • Quakelive, $4,000

Besides the prize money the winners also secures a berth for World Championship Finals to be held at CeBIT, Hannover, Germany during March 2nd-6th.

How to apply.

Entry to event is totally invite based with 8 slots in each game. Interest teams/players have to submit an application to get an invite. Last date of submitting the application is 13 December.
